ACCURATE, REAL-TIME RESULTS
DISPOSABLE TIMING CHIPS
Mid-Atlantic Timing is one of the premier race timing companies in the east. We deliver the highest level of professional race timing for your on and off road running, triathlon/duathlon, road cycling, time trial, stair climb, or other competative or non-competative event. We can also assist or advise you on all the aspects of organizing and promoting a successful race.
Mid-Atlantic Timing has a variety of timing systems and RFID timing chips to suit our customer's requirements. We can provide an overhead truss-based system with banners or we can use our ground-based systems that setup and break down quickly and do not interfere with your inflatables or pictures. We can run systems beside the road for Gran Fondos and other open road timing requirements. For running races and mud runs we use a disposable bib chip. For triathlons and duathlons we use a waterproof non-disposable ankle transponder chip. And for cycling we can use either a helmet-mounted disposable chip or a disposable chip on a number plate.
For results we have touch-screen results kiosks. We also have fully searchable internet results that can be updated during the race and we now have a smartphone app and text messaging to view results on your phone easily. Gone are the days of participants crowding around printed results. We make it easy for finishers and spectators to instantly view results.
We can help with packet pickup too. For large races we can setup a bank of bib-lookup computers so participants can lookup their bib number. This saves printing multiple large printouts of bib numbers. We setup our chip-check station that allows participants to scan their chip and view their name, age and gender on a monitor. This helps catch registration errors such as wrong gender or age. There is not much worse than having your age group awards wrong because someone entered the wrong age or gender.
We are proud to be the official timing company of the
